Raido Reception
OK I live like 10 miles from Fort Worth (Texas) and when I'm in school I drive into downtown Arlington every single day of the school week. I'm constantly in my car and I like to listen to a healthy mix of CD's, MP3, and radio so I can get to hear new stuff all the time. My problem is that one of my favorite stations is near the bottom of the band at 89.7 and while in other cars it comes in great, in my LS it doesn't ever come in without static. It's not just this station either, any stations in the bottom or top of the band come in with static while stations in the middle are crystal clear. It seems like when I'm smack dab in the middle of a huge city the radio ought to come in right, so I'm wondering if anyone else has my problem and/or knows how to fix it. Stock head unit, and the static is even more noticeable with my new Infinity speakers so I'd like to get rid of it.

Before you go out and buy one let me warn you
I bought one for my old car and it didn't do ****,
That being said it could be due to the fact that Vancouver is surrounded by mountains, or it could be that it just didn't work.
Its up to you, just don't be all that disapointed if the thing doesn't work.

i probably won't buy one just yet, but I live in Texas so I don't think that mountains would be an issue supposedly they work but i'm just going to check the connections first and if that isn't it i'll take it to my dealer and they'll swap out the head unit since (according to them) it's not just a specific station it's actually all the stations in the upper and lower part of the FM band.
