Hard to say. The stock radios don't have a switched power lead. Maybe someone else can help.
Sorry.

just find a wire that is "on" when the radio is on. If you have the pioneer it should be pretty easy since it has an amp. If you don't you will have to find a wire that comes on with the ignition so your battery doesn't drain.

wire it to a fuse as shown here:

the silver wire is the remote wire

it helps to have a test light to find a fuse that turns on and off witht the car. just make sure you leave the door open to find it since the power only goes off when the door is opened. if you can use the same fuse as me, it works well. i also have my radar detector wired to that fuse and grounded to a bolt.

sorry it took so long, i had to walk all the way out to my car in the lot. and then it took a while to upload the pic since the original was huge.

this is the fuse box... just pull the cover off, it's pretty hard to yank off but it will come. there just pop tabs. i start at the corner up top nearest the back. and it's on the passenger side of the console

iso, is that wire visable when you put that cover back on? looks like it would be... why didnt you run it the other way, above the glove box and under the door sill thing... much cleaner that way

the wire wasn't long enough, if i did that it wouldn't reach the amp in the trunk. if i got a longer wire i could do that and i recommend that. i usually have it tucked under the florrmat better so it's only slightly visible but it came out from under the floor mat when i was yanking the cover off of the fuse box. i'm not that **** about it, so it's fine for now.

like previously said, use a fuse that is on when the car's full power is on, i used the HVAC fuse
if i got pulled over, i could sit there with my radio on, all aux power, and be like 'what system' and crank it up

this way, i could also sit in a parking lot and listen to music without my system draining the battery

no problem, i wired that in the second day i got the car. i was going to wire it to the fuse block under the hood but i read the owners manual (yea i was bored) and found out there was another fuse block inside of the car. worked like a charm.

tiny, i like the hvac idea. i may have to try that. but more of for my radar detector. that way if i get pulled over it will look like the detector was never on, instead of reaching up and turning it off like i do now.

not a bad idea, but either way, if a cop sees you, take it down quickkkkkkkkkkk
i would never consider leaving a radar detector on the windshield

no, but if a cop sees you have one, there is 0 chance of getting out of a ticket
plus, it just looks bad on you as a driver if you are trying to 'cheat' the police

but then again, im a 20 year old kid with a sports car
