Remote start question??

Remote start question??

I have everything connected have the xk09 updated and and viper module 4704 2 way remote and unlock, lock, trunk everything works.. Only thing is, is that the car wont turn on, i have the ignition power but it wont crank. Any help guys?? im almost done with it just this issue.

is it a manual trans? cause i had same issue you need to bypass the clutch switch

yeah its manual. how would i do that?

You dont need to bypass the clutch. You need to set it to reservation mode. Look in the manual it has steps on how to do it.

For mine to work you have to have foot on brake and clutch. Put tranny into neutral. Release clutch FIRSt, then brake. Car continues to run when you remove key. Shuts off engine and locks door after you close it.
Other remote starters may use different sequences to ensure car can't be remote started in gear so RTFM.

With the viper starters the sequence is. Hold the brake. Pull the ebrake up. Take ur foot off the brake. Push the renote start button on the key fob. Wait for the headlights to stop flashing. And take the key out. That easy. The car should keep running.

I doubt his issue is not being able to get it set.
