replace of 6x9 speakers, ?

recently one of my 6x9's (rear right) has died, it works, but has a really loud crackling sound from it.

I did some reading on the forums, and I see I have the pioneer system, so it should be pretty simple to replace them. My question is, What wattage should I be looking at as far as replacement 6x9's? Also, should I worry about 2 way 3 way 4 way speakers? Do you have any recomendations of good direct fit sets?

do I need to worry about the type of connectors?

dont quote me on this but im pretty sure 3 ways have a tweeter, midrange, and a woofer, and 2 way only has midrange and tweet,

how much were you looking to spend on the new set? did you just want to replace them or upgrade?

edit: now i just figured out why my speakers have no bass at all, cuz there 2 ways. learn somethign new everyday

to be honest, I would prefer to just replace, but an upgrade is always worth while, as long as its not too expensive. I am looking buy a new car soon (in september) so these will only be helpful to me for a few months.

alright well any 6x9 should be direct replacement, and I would honestly go with 3 way if possible

here are some pioneer 6x9's you could look at...

crutchfield is kinda expensive IMO so you should shop around

YES! you need 2 ohm, you could run 4 ohm but they would only be getting 1/2 power.
