those amps are fugly... You painting them blue like the car? Use DuraGlass/BondoGlass rather than just straight bondo, it wont flex when it constantly heats up and cools off

im actually painting them black.... like jranger i have a few of the black ones (one a200 one a600) but i wasnt able to get all 3 a600s in black so these white ones gotta transform.

Thanks for the tip, the nicks are for the most part pretty small so well see if i even fill em. but these amps get pretty hot so good looking out

The PPI is in my storage unit with the Xtant, Orion, and about 4 sub boxes and a few other odds and ends.
I just bought a new house, I move in soon so I have been cleaning my place out and getting ready to move. I have to go drop my stock rims off there on the weekend, if I remember I'll take a pic of it.

I do have a milk crate full of A/D/S amps here though. PQ20, PQ80, Powerplate , can't remember the number on it, and one I have no idea of the model # on it, someone did what your doing to it, so its bare metal, picked up all 4 for $20 (with the RCA Dongles) a few years ago.

Are you going to have those PPI's painted with car paint or are you going to spray paint them. I seem to remember you saying something about screwing up everything you spray paint

right now just getting all the lil holes with second skin damplifier pro. I have some of the butyl they use too so in any cracks that might be iffy i just shove some raw butyl in there first then cover with the damp pro. the only big things to go is the rear 6X9 holes and in the very corner of each side is a big odd shaped hole. some fiberglass panels reinforced with the butyl will get it air tight.

im going to get it as air tight as possible.

In certain sections of the deck lid it splits into 2 pieces, creating a void inbetween the 2 sections of metal. Are you doing to fill those gaps in.
The problem I face is I failed to fill in those holes. I tried to stuff foam in there but it didn't cure my problem. Thats where my main rattle is coming from...I hope
If you did or are going to fill in that section what did you use

any specific spots ur talking about?

I have purchased not one but 2 "damp pro *****"... a member on the Second skin audio forum made a ball of the damp pro butyl material and sold it on ebay and i got it for .99 (only bidder) the first one was about the size of a golf ball. I originally bought this prior to all the bullshit in my car so and shoved it in any void i found in the rear deck until it was gone and covered all that up with damp pro (then painted several layers of spectrum over that)

recently he removed the DP from his hood and made another one but the size of a softball. i bought it directly and used about a 1/3 of it already finishing the job.
