shallow mount subs

shallow mount subs
i was wondering if anyone is using any type of shallow mount sub in the stock enclosure. i tried to get my 15 in the car but thats a big no go. i was looking into the shallow mounts i was wondering if they worked, what is recommended and how do they sound. thanks guys.

Get a Kicker L5 or L7. They are designed for very small air space and most likely hit harder then what your interested in.
Edit:
The L5 and L7 are square, so they won't fit in the stock sub box. They do require very little air space and hit extremely hard though, just take a hella lot of power.

yeah i know i have a 15 inch L7 that won't fit in the car. i just figured i don't need that much anyhow but i do want a little bump.
