wondering if i should baffle my rear deck speakers, or if it would even be worth it. As mentioned in a post earlier i have an fi btl running 2500 rms coming soon and i'm worried that the pressure from the trunk might **** with the phase or operation of the rear deck 6.5s" i'm putting in (with the 6x9 adapter ofc)....if this isn't a good idea what would be?

yes its a good idea. generally the baffle makes the speakers sound worse but in the case of a large sub it gets rid of any noises the sub would make by moving the 6.5 cone

JJ i KNOW you've had beastly ass **** in your car before...do you baffle your speakers? just wondering what solution you use/used. I'm finally crackin down on my building my new system.

im starting mine to. all boston acoustics with a 5 channel boston acoustics amp for the speakers and sub. should i get a baffle if ill onyl have a g1 or g2 in the back

no ive never had rear speakers. i sold my stock stuff within a few months of owning the car and swapped out the fronts but left the backs just a hole way before i had any bass. and i only put the rear speaker pods in a few weeks back. I never put any aftermarket 6X9s

if my back speakers are infinitys and the two way broke off from the previous owner. will i really notice a difference if i replace them with another low end aftermarket thats in the normal 75 to 150 range? i think it sounds alright now. im gonna baffle them and cancel the high end setup cause i dont need it. ill do a better sub and amp combo

what model of infinity? If its a coaxial i'm pretty sure you'd hear a difference unless you have some big beat in the back.

anyways, JJ, would a little fiberglass enclosure be better? I already bought some baffles, but i can return them if fiberglass pods would be better.

theyre the ones with the crossover. they sound fine i didn't know it was brokena dn theyre rear speakers. id rather get nice front ones

no its the same regardless. in most cases door speakers dont sound good in a small area. the bigger the "baffle" or pod the better if its sealed
