Show me your speaker adapters LS/LT people!!
What are you guys using for an adapter for your aftermarket 6.5" speakers up front? I have yet to find the GM adapters that come on the SS/SC cars, and looking for some innovative ideas to rig something up nicely.

I stripped the stock wires and soldered/heat shrank the new wires onto the stock harness. I also cut apart the stock speaker for a mounting bracket, so there's no going back. I figure if I'm going to sell the car, some cheap 6.5's can be had for $15 and work okay.
Also, it's one less connection to go bad and two properly cut wires don't make a life or death difference (rewired my entire pickup this summer, which was too much fun.).
