well the DHD wire is probably something like 12g if your lucky. If you were to do any kind of connection other then straight wire (and the fuse holder) that resistance is only going to go up. eventually your goign to try to pull alot of juice thru this straw of a wire and something bad will happen... heating up the insulation and melting it, melting the terminal on the amp itself ect
I would do whatever you can to use real wire instead of that junk

**** for 20 bucks i can get you lightning audio 8g power and ground, titanium agu fuse holder and some cheaper RCA's... id rather sell you real **** then see your stuff crash down on you
otherwise. look at the either Scosche kit, streetwires kit or ultimately the rockford kit... stay away from the nitro DHD or American Accessories... the AA is by far the worst wire ever made

I would actually go with the mono amp (1 channel) You can bridge the subs and they will still get decent power to each sub, just make sure you keep your gain low.

just run one ten?
that's what i've got, and it's not bad at all. dual subs are great if you're rocking the block, if you just want some more punch in the system, i don't think you can do better than a single sub in a small sealed box.

so i know a kid that might be able to hook me up with 2 10" rockford fosgate p2s (dual 4ohm) and a kenwood 7204 amp (250x2 @ 2 ohm) for pretty cheap, i will know prices tomorrow
or i could buy another subwoofer and run it with the kenwood 7204, 2 boxes, wiring, and a LOC for 250+cost of new sub/subs
