Hey guys I just hooked my jensen touch screen dvd player up in the balt yesterday, and for some reason it won't save presets, it's an 08, so it takes that gay harness, could that have something to do with it?

I heard it's some wire I'm supposed to hook up, I don't know any help?

if it isnt saving presets mean you probably wired up the constant and ignition wires together ....RIGHT? would be red and yellow. You need yellow to be on constant to keep presets and red to be on switched or ignition to turn the unit off. The harness is like a xsvi 2103 from metra . comes with everything you need on it. Like 65.00 on ebay. dont go to the ignition at the key cylinder . Should never be used for anything.

yeah ...but i have used it all the way up to right at 08...i believe the 09 is a different harness...

ur crazy man 07s are when they put in the new harness. sux but what can u do?

the new harness started in 07 ...but you know how sometimes an 08 is made is 07 by the sticker in the door? i know that the 07 and up kinda was the same way...either xsvi-2103 nav or gmos lan 04.

just wondering. i know a few bby installers but dont really "know" the job if u know what i mean. I wont touch an alarm personally and was sorta curious if you must do everything at bby or can say "no"

yeah i do everything ......been doing it 9 yrs now....so i damn well better be good!...but your also right some bestbuy peeps do bad work! just need the right training..not just thrown into the JOB. Car Electronics can be tricky in some cases!
