What was the point. For a stock everything on that car I thought it seemed to do ok. Then again I watched it on a slow computer at work with no sound.

The point is that they just put 63 race track miles on that car and they're going to sell it as new. Did you see how chewed up the tires were and the puke on the passenger floor? Not to mention the smoking rotors.

Definitely agree with you. They weren't taking it at high speeds, they weren't abusing the motor. As for the brakes, the smoke could have been more attributed to them not being broken in yet than anything.

They were probably easier on that car than most people are during a test drive.

The Rosso's are very good tires for a dry warm track. The motor, brakes, and clutch, were not broken in yet.. not sure what they were expecting.

The 06 SS S/C at the dealership by me has been beat to hell already. Thats why I special ordered. Some people just like to ruin things because they can.

They were hard enough on it to smoke the tire coming out of a turn. Granted, it doesn't take *that* much effort, but it's not what I'd consider normal driving. I think the main point is that the unsold car shouldn't be anywhere near a race track, period.

That's just due to there being no LSD. You don't have to be hard on it at all unfortunately.

x100. Sans LSD you can smoke a tire at <45mph if you hit the gas at the wrong time.

I know it's because of no LSD, but I make turns every day and manage not to spin my tire. It's also not like they did it on accident. If I knew which dealership this was, I would do my best to make sure no one buys a car there.
