To remove you will need to reach under the amp, push up on the amp while pulling it towards the firewall. There are four slide bolts that will slide up and off to release the amp. The amp has 3 harnesses attached to it which are easy to remove... I wouldn't recommend trying to get it back in...

1) Its Pioneer not Alpine, unless GM switched to Alpine but I havent herd anything like this.
2) It runs the whole stereo, every speaker in your car not just the sub, remember this before you disconnect it, you will have no music and if your car is an 07+ no door or signal chimes either.

Am I the only one who see's the problem with this?
1) Its Pioneer not Alpine, unless GM switched to Alpine but I havent herd anything like this.

So are you looking to amp up your front end, in which case I take it you have new speakers and an amp or just bypass the stock sub, in which case wouldn't it be easier just to unplug it.
If I way off base its cuz I'm not to sure exactly what you want to bypass, there may be an easier way then riping that amp apart.
