Steering wheel controls

Anyone else having issues with steering wheel controls?
Mine are intermittently malfunctioning, not functioning at all, etc...

Haven't taken it to the dealership yet about it, probably going to sometime this week. Just wanted some other viewpoints.

My cruise control doesnt work. Onstar said it was due to a transmission malfunction. Everything else works fine though.

On hot days the button to switch the song playing doesn't work for me. Even when its cool out, it doesn't always work. When I go for my first oil change, I will get it fixed too. Its really annoying!

The controls on the right side (volume, cruise set) have started randmonly malfunctioning for me too. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. That wouldn't be covered under warranty would it?

Why wouldn't it be covered under warranty? As long as you are still under the GM 3/36,000 mile warranty you are good to go.

My LT is only 3 months old and my Volume buttons are starting to act up. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. I am not too worried about it since I am planning on getting an aftermarket DVD player, so they won't work then anyway. But I can see how it becomes a pain when you get used to them.

My cruise worked when I got it 10mths ago, now it's DEAD. The little light that shows it's SUPPOSED to be engaged lights up, but the accel button doesn't do a thing. Bringing her in on Tuesday...

My buttons have worked flawlessly since I got the car over a year ago. My only concern is the cruise control button, it seems loose compared to the others. Other than that the buttons are functional.

my CC button is loose also...although my cc doesnt work. I think its just the way it is made cause there is a light in the actual button so it will feel different.

I asked a dealership about the cruise and they said the cruise control goes out because you are ridding the clutch. Mines gone out twice and and is out right now. I dont even pay attention anymore. However if you disconnect your battery and reset everything the cruise control will come back on

I havent had any problems with my steering wheel controls though.

The left side buttoms became intermittent...

Had them replaced under warrenty, it took me two tries though...

First time they gave it back saying its fine.

I brought it back and showed them, they replaced it without question.
