ok so my chick friends car is a 2000 mazda protage and i was looking it over the other day because of the washer fluid motor wasent working so i pulled a few fuses and now her head lamps inside dosent work and her stereo lights up but thats it nothing on the screen and i checked the fuses again but still nothing working any ideas

hahaha yes the fuse is back in and i have all ready paid me in sexual favors and now i am not gonna get anymore untill i fix the car lol hahaha

yes i did rite now there is neither fuse blown the stereo was working then i brought the car into my shop shut her off then i took out the fuses well all of them just to double check them too see if anything was blown and then i put them all back in and nothing the stereo wasent working at all just the lights came on the deck thats all but nothing on the screen so idk whats going on and i am a marine diesel mechanic by the way so i checked all the usually stuff so

does the car have a factory installed amp? factory radio or aftermarket?

I have blown a fuse on an aftermarket radio before...
also had a customer with an impala (i work at a chevy dealer) where there was a water leak that got onto wiring under the carpet and it fried the factory amp and no audio

ok it is a stock deck it lights up but just nothing on the screen and it wont turn on i dont belive it has a amp but maybe i am not sure its just funny how it was working then i pulled the fuse and then put it back and now no dice i did read somewhere where there is a security code on the deck but it also says code will come up on the screen but nothing on the screen so idk

Mother in laws radio does the same thing. Button lights come on, radio it's self works. But the screen does not. Only thing to do is replace the stereo.
