stock amp/head question?

stock amp/head question?

Im looking in to buying a new head unit and subs. Can i hook the stock amp to the new head unit for the mids and highs or will i have to get another amp for them?

Also could i hook subs and amp to the stock head unit???

there is alot on this already, but the basic answer is that you can use the stock amp for door speakers, but for subs, you'll need something with more *****.

i no im gettin a 1700watts amp for subs.can i hook the amp up to the stock head unit?

yes you need a line out convertor for your new amp and you can use the stock amp for the highs. IF you bypass the amp you wont get as much sound
