Stock Deck Vs Aftermarket
I am curious how many of you out there are running their stock deck with additional stereo equipment like subs and amps with line out converters or High Input adapters with their amps?
Here is my dilemma - I currently have an Eclipse CD3434 that is just sitting here doing nothing. I took this out of my previous vehicle about 9 mths ago before I bought the new car. Anyways, I am not a big fan of the double DIN install kits and the PAC adapters are pretty expensive considering I am Canadian and I can't seem to find one at any of my local shops.
So what do you all think I should do? Stick stock, use high input with low pass frequency on the amp or install the after market deck, buy the PAC adapter etc.
Just looking for opinions and to see what everyones setup is currently.
Thanks!

I noticed with the stock radio deck, the aftermarket sub sounded like garbage, i changed out the stock deck with a panasonic in dash tv dvd player, and now i have so much control on the sub and it sounds alot cleaner.

I would go double-din like Cobalt SS Super did. Most likely your Eclipse is a double din? You can problably paint the dash-kit if you really didn't like the color... I am going to get a double-din radio in mine soon.
