stock Nav unit from another GM..

Has anyone attempted this? The DIN is the same (or close enough some creative engineering will make it fit) in some other models, but I am having trouble finding the pinouts of them. I am curious if the pinouts may even be the same, or just require some rewiring to make it work. I realize it wont be as nice or have as many features as a nice aftermarket radio/nav, but Id like to give it a try - stock units make less of a theft target then nice aftermarket ones do.

Anyone know or have access to pinouts or pics of the connectors to those? Id also need to get the GPS antenna of course from the donor..

gmlan kills it. If there wasn't gmlan then i would only be aesthetics and figuring out and wiring the pinout to match

I wouldn't attempt this
