Stock Pioneer Sub

Hey guys just had a quick question, i want to put in the stock pioneer sub in my cobalt LT. I was just wondering if it will work??? i was looking on ebay for them and they all say for SS with the pioneer package. But I have the LT, not sure if anyone on here has tried this or not. Any feedback would be appreciated

I dont know but I think the stock sub hits ok for stock. If funds allow I would go stock enclosure and aftermarket sub/amp.

Its the same concept as an after market system. As long as your radio has the hook ups on the back you'll be fine. Just add an amp and wire it.

You can add the stock sub to your system, you'll just need an amp and a line out converter.

well i already have an aftermarket sub and amp, i just wanted a little extra space in my trunk. I guess all i need is stock box then? And to install my aftermarket ones everywhere around here is too expensive =/

Honestly I dont think the stock sub is worth a damn. My eclipses factory infinity stereo hits harder and sounds better... and it just has like 6 inch drivers in the door 6x9s in rear and a 3 inch midrange in the dash....

If you dont like your current sub go with a high quality 8 inch sub. (Digital Design,Sundown audio,JL) You can run them in a .75 cubic foot box (i have my dd sub in a 1 cf box)
