Stock Stero Replacement Info ?
So lately I have been thinking about replacing my stock head unit with a really nice double din unit. I am not brand biast and I want to keep the stock speakers. My questions are. Do the new double dins come with a usb like the factory unit. As well as being able to connect to my cell by bluetooth and use steering wheel controls ? Also , where is the amp for the factory sub in our trunks ? Will have to get an after market amp to power the 10" stock sub ? Any links to any double dins would be great. Thanks

I recently installed a pioneer avh-p2400bt, and it is great! Double DIN, dvd, touch screen....it has usb and aux ports on the front and has bluetooth. With aftermarket head units you will need the adapter harness to retain use of the steering wheel controls...
I got most of my stuff from Crutchfield.com great place to deal with.
oh, and the amp is next to the steering column under the dash.

Can a double din unit be used with the factory sub amp to power the stock sub in the trunk ?Or does the stock amp power all the speakers including the sub. I would like to try to avoid having to buy an after market amp.
