Question Stock Sub Box Redo

I was looking at making a new box for the stock sub (pioneer) but I was wondering if it is worth it? And what size/shape/port etc. I should look at?

Thanks

I was thinking a box that smoothed out that whole side of the trunk and is ported.

a ported box would need to be bigger then the stock box by at least 2 fold

If your looking for better sound, DEFINITLY upgrade the speaker, if your just trying to change the look, but retain the stock sound, then just make a new box, but try to keep it approxamitly the same cubic feet inside, and don't waste your time porting the box on stock sub...

well I have this idea of smoothing both sides with a speaker in each. so it was more of a box (the trunk).
