Sub and Amp install with Stock HU

Sub and Amp install with Stock HU
First off I have a 2007 SS/SC.
Ok I have a buddy who is going to sell me 2, 10" rockford punch's with a rockford amp for $125. I am a huge newb to audio.
From what I understand I will have to:
a. hook up the power to the battery with an inline fuse. (40A)
b. hook up ground. (would the negative battery be the best?)
c. hook up remote wire to the wiper fuse in the fuse box.
d. hook up the RCA wire to....? I AM NOT SURE of where to hook this/these wires up to, can I hook them up to my existing factory sub wires?
I am buying this right after work at 3:30 so I need responses ASAP!
