yup. scott sold re because it was getting to big. scott is a cool guy with a good head on his shoulders but his attitude is alot like mine. people expect the world now adays and with a tight ship company is easy to tell people to **** off persay. a big company has to suck everyone dick to say afloat. an example to that is he give great support but only via e-mail. a hour long conversation about someones ground loop cap issue really isn't fun for anyone especially people who are really 3rd parties.

and who was this owner of RE?? now i really cant comment on the fi line up because i don't know the actual story. i know some internet grape vine stuff but that's about it
the most recent design persay of res would be the REx subs. but they've been making slight changes on the re line of subs for some time now. next would be the SL and that was actually a design scott made and said it wasnt good enough for production. this design was found on some computer or HDD at some point and the sub was made. then the XXX and MX series which scott designed before he left the company. The X series sr se and sx is essentially the same speaker as the older models. now while the design is different the goal when making them was to make the speakers look better but keep everything else the same.
