i was wondering if it was possable for me to hook subs up to my stock radio?

yes it is possible regardless. You have to get a line out converter so you can have rca outputs and you will need to rig up a remote wire for your amp by running a wire to the fuse box that will shut off with the car...

damnn ok bc a friend of mine is giving me a 12" punch and i wasnt sure if i needed a new head unit

no they are all the same should be simple. A line out converter will just take speaker wire in and output to rca's

its a box with rcas on one side and 4 wires on the other... rear right speaker ( + - ) and rear left speaker ( + - )... no bigger than a credit card in size... thicker but not bigger...
