subs?????
Im getting subs in 2 weeks im pretty sure im getting 2 10" kicker CVR's with the kicker recomended amp and some sort of head unit im also getting the control to turn for the subs so i dont have to do it through my head unit. The shop said it would be $719 does that sound right? it also all in a regular sealed box, how do you think it will sound? also is it going to bump hard you think?

if you want it to bump "hard" go with 12s... they hit deeper... and go with a ported box..
just my $.02.
2 10s in a sealed box is more for tight, punchy bass like in rock songs.

then get one 12? you asked for it to hit hard, right??
i set up my girlfriend's car with 2 10s in a sealed box before i knew anything about bass, she wanted it for deep bass for rap songs... i should have went with 12s because the 10s hit hard, but not DEEP. i cant really explain it to you but if you want hard hitting bass, get a 12 or 2 12s

i built my gf's box, wrapped it in zebra fabric, went with some pyle subs (1000 rms i believe), 4 gauge wiring, adapter for her HU, and 1000 watt amp for about $350, so... i dont really think its that great of a deal. but then again you are getting a HU...
pic if anyone wants to see (subs have been changed)

what kind of head unit is it? the sound really depends on the radio. for 100 bucks you are not getting anything good. i sell speakers/amps/radios and stuff and that price is ok depending on the HU. speakers run about 200-220 pair(10's) and about 270-300 for a ok sized kicker amp. plus about 100-120 for install of the amp plus about 180ish for a good pioneer premier plus install of that depending on what harness u go with
