^^^Can someone please tell me where I can find a set of those 4 bolts? They were missing when I bought my car, so it's rigged for now.

Kicker only makes 1 shallow mount. It's there CVT. But the sub in the picture is not a CVT, it's there regular size subwoofer CVR.

no they came out with a brand new series in Jan 2013 at CES called the RT. They are bad with 600 watt rms handling and very thin.

Ya I was talking about the guys picture but that corrects my statement of kicker only making 1 shallow mount. I guess there are 2 Shallow models now. That CRT looks nice, takes more RMS then the regular size CVR's.

Best fit for the enclosure is what it comes down to. Although I desire that audio utopia my car is setup with a big exhuaust, trubo, etc. Its too noisy a platform for sq.

To the SD's defense, the paper cone is to my liking, mainly due to its pulp paper has one of the best weight to strength ratios of any common material used on speaker cones. It may not blend as well but it will definitely cover the low end with authority and have strength against the high pressures of a small enclosure.

The SD and my Clarion setup for daily driver duty will be more than enough for loud bass in a small space.

Here is my favorite amplifier 850 watts rms at 2/1 ohm. It has ARC audio GH architecture. Amp requires a 90 amp fuse.

The plug and harness from the car are wired and soldered together to make a quick install.

The power and other stuff was run tonight. All OFC 4 guage raptor cable. Crimped some connectors and bolted it all up. I still need to run a remote turn on lead and get the subwoofer installed. Still debating if my sub choices are going to be enough for my amp. I want to really get the most bass in a small space. Thinking of going a little different route but still using the stock box.

Oh, I am not attacking the SD by any means. I have experience with the big brothers SA and ZV.3's and love Sundown quality and c/s. I was just yanking your chain because of the debate we had a few months ago in the show your system thread.

Okay so you got my interest why is clarion your favorite amp? Yes 90amp fuse is required for 900 RMS. Weird it does say 1 Ohm stable in Mono mode but no rating for it. Really clean power from your experience or just got a good deal on it or what? $230 is a little on the high end for mid brand 900 RMS.

I just got a really good deal on it (125 shipped brand new with warranty), its a very well designed board (made in korea not china) and most clarion stuff is a joke but the XH7110 is a very well built amp, both sonically and for the price.

Cool ya $125 is good deal for 850-900 RMS. I'd go with it too for that price if thats the power I was wanting to run. It's got the fuse rating to put out the rated power and its CEA certified. I would just be a little concered for running 1ohm. It says it is 1 ohm stable but no rating for it is a little weird.

these amps are strappable as well, the circuit in them allows for more power as you hook them up together to work as one amp. the one ohm rating is the same as 2 ohm. I would not hesitate to run this at 1 ohm at all. Its very well engineered by these guys. Robert Zeff and Nikola Engineering. Nikola Engineering

I have 2 600 watt Visonik subs in a sealed box. I may have to take one out and see if i can make it fit. That might sound good!

Yeah, That's for sure. The only problem is, can I make a non shallow mount sub fit? I'll have to see.

i bet you can, i have something to share here very shortly, I am not using a shallow sub nor am I using a spacer ring between the sub and box. You guys are going to love what I came up with.

In for that! What about using a deeper sub flipped over; anyone try that yet?
