took a total shot in the dark with the magnet. I looked at the design on some websites and figured I could remove the rear cover of the magnet. And BAM it fit. Thinking outside the (subwoofer) box paid off literally.

As long as the vent pole has enough clearance to breathe, looks like a good improvement. That pressure from the added plates would prevent the box vibration or help eliminate it as well. Good work sir. Make sure to post some install pictures

I have decided to say **** it and go a little bigger. I figure my car makes enough power that 150 lbs won't make a difference. Going to go with an fi q or a bl and run a soundqubed 2200 to it.

I will mount the amp and hide the wires at a later time, just vacuumed the trunk after this. Just insane bass for a 10. The box is very very solid, The bolts that hold the sub in are tight and the vibes are now forced into the chassis. The gas tank skid plate is now screaming it hates me with every bass hit. This is on 850 watts RMS.

That is absolutely beautiful. I have one champion pro 12 in a ported box in my explorer, they sound so much better sealed. Glad to see it set in nice. Alittle box flex that's why I decided I'm not gonna exceed 600w rms. going with a kicker comp rt off of a 5 channel amp and new door speakers.

watch the video at 1:15 you can see compared to the carpet the box is almost jumping off its 4 bolts mounted to the wall of the trunk. It could look like flex but its the entire box trembling. Its just awesome.

If possible you should make a video of the rest of the car flexing. Ya dig?

You mean all the rattles, etc. LOL. I was playing with it today and the bass hits so hard it tickles my throat. I used to have bass like this with 2 12's or 3 10's in the past, never have I felt bass like this with just one sealed subwoofer. THIS IS IT, if you are looking for clean loud bass and light weight. My word I am in love with the quality of sound out of this subwoofer. Thats not even the best part, once the subwoofer coil breaks in with the heat cycles over 40 or so hours of playing. They always get better. This thing is a beast.

Exactly what my box does, the whole thing vibrates, but the enclosure itself doesn't flex. Good work

Decided on going with the comp rt powered by a kicker cx600. Sounds very nice and no cutting was required to fit it. Overall 100% satisfied with the purchase and installation. Also loaded it with poly fill.
