subwoofer question

i have a set of 1000W subwoofers and a 1000W amp, and was wondering how i can hook it up to my stock system in a 08 cobalt sport... I did a search and couldnt really find what i was looking for, can anyone sum up exactly what i'd need to do?? does the stock stereo have the plug for a amp already on it?? if so all i need is a yes =]

but if i not i need help =[

Nope there are no RCA's on the stock HU
If you want to hook it up to the stock system you need a LOC (Line Output Converter)
There not that much money and just splice into your speaker wires.
However an aftermarket HU is the way to go IMO, but if you don't have the cash then this will get the job done

@Brickloaf- You are trying to sell one of these are you not? You might want to work on the sales pitch a little bit (joke)

The loc will sound fine as long as u tune them up. generally they have a level control on them as well. I've got my sub installed that way and sounds great, just gotta do alot of tuning on the amp to make everything sound even. Only takes like an hour cause everything u need except for the remote is in the trunk.
