sun roof switch?
I'm having a big problem with the switch and cover..I cant seem to keep the metal frame that holds the switch in place to be able to put on the cover. besides getting a whole new headliner board. Is there any tricks or tips anyone can give me? I thought of a few but Im not sure how good they will work TBH.
Also is the thing hanging for the onstar?
Any help I would be very gratful for

The thing hanging is the OnStar mic.
As for the switch, I don't know. I haven't gotten around to replacing the bezel around it yet, but I'm also interested in knowing how to do it, it looks like it's going to wiggle around when I go to replace the trim.

Its a pain in the ass to get it cliped around and fit in there right. as you can see someone before me made it so the liner and board isnt tight. cant get it to stay in place now(as its suppse to be)

the sunroof switch is a pain in te ass you can order the metal bezel on gmpartsdirect.com and that will help hold the switch in place then the bezel you should superglue a little dab on each corner thats the only way to hold it trust me my stereo shakes the bezel off atleast once a day until i glued that bitch

also onstar mic just pushes into the circle bezel which goes into the headliner and twists to hold it in. just did a suede headliner on mine so i went through this days ago

headliner removal is fairly simple. i think there is a write up for it. but if you are just gonna replace the metal bracket for the switch you can access it by taking the tork screws out of the visors and visor holders and take off the tops of the a pillars and that will give you enough room to get it in through the front

My wires broke off mine so already need to fx it.
I think im just going to take out the headliner and make sure its in there right. Theres not enough to clip it in there for it to stay. going to try to glue the hell out of it from the top maybe..

the cause for the bezel falling out is actually quite simple, the metal bracket has rounded edges, the bezel has straight edges, they don't like each other, if you flatten out the metal bracket rounded edges it will stay in there the way it was supposed to. i did this to mine and hasn't even budged in 3 years. gluing it is kinda ghetto
