Suzuki XL7 radio compatible with cobalt?????

Saw the interior of one of these things the other day, and the cd player is identical to the 07+ one from cobalts/g5s. Plus its black!

Just outta curiosity for myself and others looking for a black radio, does anyone know if this could be reflashed to work with a cobalt by the dealer?

possibly but it may have a different curvature... you can ask the dealer but seems like gettign a black cobalt radio would be an easier better option

Unlikely. IIRC the radios are programmed to only talk to the BCM that they're designed to work with.

Example: a Cobalt radio will work in a cobalt/g5 cause its the same ****. Maybe an HHR radio would work, but a malibu radio or solstice radio wouldn't work. If someone could clarify this that would be great. *I don't mean reflashing VIN either btw. I mean wont work at alllllll*

The curvature of the Cobalt/G5 radios is actually a lot more than most people think compared to others.
