Tweeter Removal????

I noticed today after replacing my rear 6x9 speakers that there is a small crackle coming from my tweeters. Blown! i am just wondering if anybody can remind me of how to get that cover of or is it conected to the door panel? and any picture of how the tweeter mounts behind the cover?

You have to take off the whole door panel. And the tweeter is held by 2 or 3 screws, if you buy aftermarket tweeters they should come with a universal bracket with multi points to screw down on.

Or you could get plain sail panels from a base and run regular speakers instead. That is what I am looking to do with mine since the components that matach my speakers are so expensive.

just remember the LS sail panels are the same size but the clip that holds them in is slightly higher. So it doesnt just clip in you need to bore out the hole or stay with the pioneer sail
