which type of .....

I'm a huge fan of Unique Whips, and i love the work Reme does, and i want to make my own box. I have a vision, i just need to know what type of wood you would typically use to make a subwoofer box..
Also, i am looking for an amp, let me know if you got one to sell.....
Thx alot!

should see if you can buy someones used pioneer from the ss/sc system.
its a great little system if you just want a bit more kick.

very compact, looks great in the trunk and saves your trunk space.

then i would use 1/2 inch to 5/8ths (prefurably the 5/8ths) mdf if your not going to be running a ton of power, and always predrill your screws so you dont split the wood

MDF is cheap, use 3/4". Your box will be more rigid.

Rigid is good. Thinner MDF can flex. Flexing=poor sub performance.

right use 3/4 mdf and wood glue inbetween every seam when you put it together. If your box isnt air tight then its going to sound shitty no matter what

MDF is what is used most commonly....but like mentioned before you dont want flex so use considerbally thick boards.
