How high on the priority list should a warranty be for one of these?
It looks like a good basic unit. Do you know how clear they are? Or if there is alot of lag with the touch part?
Again thanks so much for the advice!

thats a question your going to have to answer yourself
it is an awesome basic unit. its a good cd player with a quality screen and no moving parts. win win win. comparing to a valor theres no lag. that 3200 actually has less lag then my HU and mine is better then the valors ive dealt with.

Well I found that one you suggested for under 300 with 1 year warranty and free shipping. Sounds like a wonderful deal. Gonna go scope best buy tomorrow cause my buddy says I absolutely have to lol.
What would be considered "brand name" for these? Alpine, jvc, etc?

no you want to integrate with the stock amplifier. the cheap metra harness does that (remote turn on as well)
the only thing an expensive harness with do is make it so you dont have to run your own acc to the fuse box.
i couldnt tell you what b stock is on a dash kit exactly. just something is slightly off. metra and schoshe sell the a-stock as their product. sell the b-stock to best kits and get rid of the ones that are not even close

Hey guys I have a 2010 Cobalt LT and I was wondering what harness to get.
I don't have the pioneer system or OnStar. I have the stock deck with USB and XM radio. I don't really care about the XM radio since I won't be paying for it once my trial is up.
I have seen three different Metra harnesses mentioned
-Metra 71-2104 (This one is listed on the Metra site)
-Metra 70-2202 (This one was mentioned here)
-Metra 70-2104 (This one was mentioned by anther poster here)
I did see a post about it here, but can't seem to find it among all the pages now.
So which one is the one I need to get for my stock deck with USB and AUX input?
My other question is what will be lost with these harnesses? You say only the door chime and turn signal sounds will be lost. Is that even true for a 2010? Is that the only downside with not going the GMOS-LAN way? $100 for a harness to make door chimes and turn signal clicks seems like a waste of money. Surely there are more downsides with going the cheap harness route. Will there be any DIC problems with a 2010?
For the Fuse-Tap, is there a certain fuse I should use so I can still listen to tunes when I remove the key but don't open the door?
For the record, I have a Kenwood KDC-X693 deck.
Is the Antenna adapter only needed for listening to the radio?

I wish i could remember which harness i got cause the one i have i didn't lose any chimes or anything and it was only 20 or so dollars. But i have an 05 ls with pioneer. So this is probably a moo point. It was a metra harness though.
