Vibration & irritating noise locations
So all of you sound gurus must have gone over your interior countless times to find those annoying buzzing noises. There are a ton of different threads for this and i thought i might collect all the problems into one thread so if you could list where the problem was and how you fixed it that would be greatly appreciated
-rear deck- i fixed it by going in my trunk and finding where it clipped on to the frame and i put a foamy material in there to push it up against my rear window, seems to work.
-outside door handles- dont know how to fix this
-glove compartment- dont know how to fix this
-little plastic flaps covering baby seat attachments- just flipped them up

the rear deck is notoriously noisy, i took mine off and put the cheap knock off version of dynamat underneath and it really helps. Make sure all the extra plastic pieces are OFF the rear deck completely, u dont need them.

I know I'm waking up the dead thread here but I'd really like an answer to those, I get horrible vibrations from my door handles, no one ever fixed that yet? I also have a weird sound behind me near the rear window.

the exterior door handles are a problem with a piece of the handle wearing prematurly causing play in the handle which cause the rattle. the door panels i made a how to that helps a great deal with reducing noise in the door panels.

wow this was a long ass time ago... um 50 lb per door later i dont have any rattles at all. but that really isn't necessary. IMO a decent amount of sound dampening on the door will fix the exterior door handle rattle. i need to try that epoxy thing because my door plastics are worn like an old t-shirt
hows the car pc going?

all-in-all it's off the hook emp. I hope you'll buy a fully config'd carpc off of me once mine's finished.
