Volume of stock subwoofer box?
Subject says it all
What is the volume of the stock subwoofer enclosure in the pioneer system? I saw this linked on another thread and like the look of it, and I wonder if it would work OK in the stock enclosure...

Any thoughts?

nice find, i've already tried this, and it sounds like crap,
that sub needs more breathing room than our factory box allows for.
also the subw ill not just fit right in, i had to cut about a 1/2cm all the way around the hole jsut to get it to sit in the box.
dont bother with it, you might as well get a bigger box

Yeah I'm running and extra 2 10inch rockford p1's off a 800w Kenwood with 1 fard capasitor and 4 guage wires. That does the trick pretty well, rear view mirror keeps falling off, and I've sound dampened most of the car. Nuff said, now I'm going amp up my factory mid and high speakers. I'll give them 2 weeks before they blow, then I will have to go buy some real speakers, darn

if you want extra kick, get an aftermarket deck and tune it properly, then fold down your rear seat, it helps a lot to pass sound. the seat up kills a lot of sound
