What can I do with this amp?

Although the picture doesn't match up, I have a Pioneer 2 channel amp fitting these exact specs.
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...559003,00.html

I was going to buy a set of subs for this amp to power but I've decided I don't want a big box sitting in my trunk and was wondering if there was any speakers I could run with this amp. And how I would go about wiring it up to the speakers. I have wired up a set of subs but never wired a set of speakers into an amp. I have a factory six disk mp3 player with an rca adapter, and the amp also has speaker level inputs.

Help me out if you would please.

you could use it to power your speakers, although i wouldnt know how to tell you to do that.. im sure you can find out how online.. or even power a subwoofer, a 10" would probably be best for that wattage

I don't want any subwoofers...

what I want to know is what type of speakers could handle these power levels. Maybe some suggestions on speakers to look at. Since this amp is only a 2 channel amp, would it only be able to power a set of speakers or is there a way I'd be able to get them to power all 4?

Come on theres no audio installer guys in here? gimmie some suggestions...

nothing... pioneer amps arent great at all...
if you really wanted you could drop it to 2ohms and use it to power all four speakers, but you will lose your front to back fading...

125w RMS x 2 ?
You could power some component speakers up front or power a decent sub.
Thats about it.

if thats all you want to run, I would run all four corners to it in (series I believe) and show it 8 ohms per channel, you could then have right and left Balance or front and rear fading, but not both. You could run a decent set of speakers at each corner, theyd get about 50 watts RMS each. WHich is nice.

put rear pos(+) and neg(-) together and front pos(+) and neg(-) together... that will drop the amp to 2ohms... which would get you the 190 or so watts to each spk... now most spks cant handle that, but you would be getting the most out of that amp

yes its 125w rms x2

so this wiring combo would amp all 4 speakers?

What about running two rear speakers that are good for mid to lows in the rear to the amp and run the other two front speakers off of the HU. I'm assuming this would be easiest correct? But how do you think it would compare it comparison to amping all 4 speakers at a 2 ohm load?

Keep in mind, I listen to rap music so I want something that can get those lows out but without the heavy box. Any component recommendations?

Also, I've never wired speakers to an amp before...does the speaker wiring go directly to the amp or do you splice into the factory wiring and run it to the amp?

:edit: actually, I think I want to run all 4 speakers off the amp which would run them about 60 watts rms each...so 2 speakers per channel at a 2 ohm load, correct?
