What did you use to get the stock sub out?

So I put in a sub box and wanted to take out the stock sub. I have some extra deep sockets but they weren't deep enough I guess. I'm not ready to pop down for ratcheting closed end wrenches with a pivot just to get the box out.

Is there some trick to this damn thing? I looked at the 'show me your trunk' thread and I noted about half the people just left their stock sub installed. I've already disconnected it, so now it's just wasting space.

i forget what size the bolts are, but when i was checking mine because i thought it didn't work, i just jammed the socket in and it went no problem with a long extension. after the bolt was loose, i used my 3 dollar extenable magnet pole to pull it out.

Good idea on the magnet. I'll try again I guess.

10mm deep socket, 10" extension, flashlight, and a magnet wand to get the nut out after it comes loose. Those nuts are a pain to get out because you cant really see where the socket is going.

Four bolts holding the box to the car plus one holding the sub in the box itself....
