what do i need?

well i drive an 05 ls with the stock mp3 cd player and the 4 speaker setup.

i've had a 10in JL sub and a 640 watt Volfanhag amp sittin up in my room for almost a year now, and i wanna hook them up in my balt. so my question is what do i need to buy in order to hook everything up to the stock headunit?

i've heard that i would have to buy some type of adapter to make the amp work with the stock headunit. i dont really feel like buying a new headunit because 1. i like the look of the stock one and 2. i dont feel like spending the money on a new headunit since there is so many other things i would rather buy with the money.

Very easy to do. This was the easiest and quickest sub I've ever installed.

yea thats most likely what im gunna end up goin with, from what i have heard they run around 70 bucks....

first im gunna look around for a 7 in. monitor to put in, and if i find one for a good price ill prolly go that route and not have to worry about the adapter. (a monitor is the only substitute ill use for the stock headunit)

just a simple flip out dvd monitor. thats the only look i would like in place of the stock head unit. im not crazy about the intall kits that are available with all that empty space left over for a normal size aftermarket headunit. (dont kno if that makes sense or not) lol
