I dont have an ss/sc (because it shouldnt matter what model) and I dont have an alarm. Its actually pretty complicated to steal any late model GM due to the PassKey systems they use.
So I like my stock "alarm"

an alarm is different then anti-theft system like passkey. passkey doesnt allow the car to be started unless it see the chip or resistances (depending on which passkey you are talking about 1,2or3). A stock alarm goes off if a door is open. All cobalts have passkey but not all cobalt have factory alarms. also aftermark alarms gives you more defensive options like shock senors or twoway. most common way cars are broken into is breaking the window. with an aftermarket alarm with a shock senor will go off as a factory alarm will not until the door is open allowing anybody to reach in and steal whatever.... just something to think about....

I installed a 2 way pager alarm in my integra but i was wondering how much is it to get it installed professionally? Like alarm and install price together from the cheapest to most expensive.
I want to see pics when you are done.

I have something known as AutoPage... basically the same as a Viper 2way system only alot cheaper and does a damn good job. I can adjust sensitivity and add things such as a tilt sensor so I know if anyone tries to take my precious rims... also I have sensors on the trunk and I could add them to the hood if I wanted to. And if you can see clearly enough through my tint to see the HU then you can try to get it but anything else you have to work extra hard for. Even the rims. I've been robbed before so I spent weeks devising any theft deterent skeems I could think of. To really be worth taking something off or out of my car would require a tow truck. Good luck hooking it up before I get out there, I sleep with the alarm by my ear and walk with it around my neck. The range isn't that bad.

I have the Compustar Pro FM900 on my G5. It is a 2 way, 3000ft range starter/alarm. Basically has every option you would want, even internal temperature display on the remote.

The thing is on 90% of these cars on the site, there ain't **** worth stealing inside.
And something to think about is when a car alarm goes off most people think one of two things
1)Turn that ******* annoying thing off
2)Owner must have locked himself out and is trying to get back in
I've seen this on the news and Cops, its true too.
