Whats Your Audio System? Pros And Cons!
What do you all have for your car audio systems?? SUBS / AMPS / DECKS / 4 or 8-GUAGE WIRING KITS / SPEAKERS / ETC. ???? WHAT ARE THE PROS AND CONS? BE HONEST. I'm looking for an audio system that doesnt take up too much space (everything except for speakers) and I want to make the right decision. I'm sure this could help out others as well.... Please and thank you

*Pioneer DEH-6000UB Head Unit
*Pioneer 6 1/2" (Doors)
*Pioneer 6x9" (Rear Deck)
*Pioneer GM-7300M Amp
*JL Audio 10" W3
*Monster 8 Guage Wiring
Pros: It's very tight and sounds amazing for what I listen too (Gwen Stacy, A Day to Remember, The Devil Wears Prada, stuff like that).
Cons: It shakes the trunk lid like crazy, but I could fix that if I wanted too lol.
Overall it's the best system I've had so far and it all cost about $700.

H/U: Pioneer DEHP5000UB
Speakers: Polk DB651 (front), Polk DB691 (rear)
Subwoofers: Two 10" Kicker Comps.
Amp: 300 watt MTX mono (300XD)
Sub Wiring: 4 gauge power/ground
Not an amazing amount of power, but the subs can rattle the car if needed and the speaker/deck combo is crystal clear.

H/U: Pioneer DEH-5900IB
Front Stage: Pioneer TS-C720PRS
Rear Stage: Pioneer TS-D902P (Mainly rear fill)
Amplifer For Front/Rear Stage: MTX Thunder 4 channel (I forget the model # 150x4)
Subwoofer: 12" Alpine Type R in fiberglass enclosure
Amp for Woofer: TMA Audio 500/1
Pro's: Sounds amazing. The tweeters are silk tweeters so they aren't so tinny, but they are still a little bright.
Con's: Need a bigger amp to run active up front. The mid-bass woofers from the set want 200 watts devoted strictly to them to bring out their full potential. The cost of replacing everything when it all got stolen the first time . (Now i have a garage and an alarm/remote start)
I had a much much louder woofer before. Massive Audio DMX Stage 2 12" in a 4 cubic foot ported box. Hit 149dbs on the dash and 151dbs in the port with a little under 1800 watts. Too loud for me and it took up the entire trunk space.
I went with pioneer so when I trade the car in I can fib and say it has the premium package.

I love it bro. I was set on the 6000 at first, but between those two, the only difference is the dynamic screen. And I gotta good deal on mine, so I had to take it. The USB is the feature I use the most for sure. I got a 8gb flash drive hooked up to it with a **** load of mp3s on it so its all good.

I know what you mean man. I won't go with the 600/6000. Those cheesy graphics don't cut it for me.

I wish people were closer to those that have invested the money . I'm sure Emperrorj, spun or myself could persuade a few individuals to drop quite a bit of money.
