Alright so I've decided (99% sure) that I'm going with this setup:
-Pioneer 5000UB Deck (iPod & such)
-TMA 500.1 Amp [500watts/rms (true to the rating)] (Made by JL Audio)
-Kenwood Excelon Carbon Glass-Fiber 10" sub w/ported box (1600watts max & 500rms)
-4-Guage Amp Kit (Wiring)
-Dash Kit / Harness / Dash Hardware
-Steering Wheel Control adapter + all parts necessary for it
All for $700.00 out the door. (One year replacement warranty on all parts and 2 year on the sub) Also.. Lifetime warranty on the entire installation.
Good deal? Help Lemme know guys!! Before I buy!

Thanks bro! Reassurance always feels good.
Fosgate was one of my choices for my sub but they told me that the excelon has more power / and more reliability as far as cracks etc. And also the box that the kenwood excelon comes in is supposed to make it sound perfect and better than the P3 Slim that I planned to get from Rockford Fosgate

I just didnt want to take up too much room in the trunk but I figured one sub wont take up too much anyway even with the big box. And the bigger box is important to get the value out of the sub. I hope I dont regret the investment of 700. I think I'll like it what do you think you "Car Audio Guru"? lol..

ya dont look at a shallow speaker. they are nice for certain applications but i wouldnt push your luck and get one if you dont have too.
ultimately its pretty expensive but considering what your getting its a good deal. Just half ass guessing it in my head i came out with just under 900 so.

Definitely. But keep in mind your estimate is well over the price I'm getting.. almost 50% more costly.... So I appreciate your input if that's an honest estimated quote range..

H/U: Stock 07 MP3
Front: Infinity Kappa 62.9
Rear: Infinity Kappa 693.9
Subwoofer: Piece of **** well over powered Pioneer 12" till I get my Alpine Type-R in March
4 Channel Amp: None (soon to be Hifonics Zeus in March)
Sub Amp: Hifonics Brutus 1206D
Currently I can crank my system up on stock deck and not really get any distortion haha. it gets loud and sounds....pretty much how it should. this pioneer sub has taken some real abuse, i'm really kinda surprised it hasn't blown it's voice coil to be honest. lol but i just know the second these kappa's get a hifonics zues hooked up they'll scream.
all my rattles been hunted down(except for rear bumper lol). I think I'll need Dynamat though here very soon as well. LOL

Nice man that sounds like what I'm going for but i just don't want 2 12's so I went with a high-powered 10" and ported box... I hope it works out for me. How much trunk space do he subs take up?

I'm getting a 500rms / 1600max watt kenwood excelon 10"... More wattage than the fosgate and I think it is supposed to be one of the best 10's on the market (from what I've been told at least)
