Hey joeworkstohard,
heres the pic of my Ultrabright neon.... the suns out and its still bright.. Lol looks tight at night

Heres the picture of my amp.. its mounted upside down on the sub box... why upside down? because it allows easy access to the wiring.. besides, nobody can see it.. its hidden when u open the trunk... ohhh yeahhh... Lol

On a board on the back of my box. I left a 5/8" air space between it and the box and drilled about 20 1" holes in the board to help cool the amps. Here's a pic.

Fans? buy the right amp, and unless your showing it off you won't need a Fan...(if your not straining your Amp, you'll get much better sound out of it too)

Actually many people install fans because not all amps come with them. So people install fans so they can push their amp harder, cooling down will stop the thermals from kicking it over to protect...

and as I said, Buy the right Amp (one that isn't being pushed past it's happy zone) and you won't need a Fan.

AND AS I SAID when you push an amp at 1 ohm doing 1000 watts that puppy is gonna get hot. It is better for your amp to run fans, or you could be lazy and burn up your amp I really don't care, there are subs out there require 1000 rms you know. So I don't get the whole buy the right amp **** because you can never go wrong by cooling down an amplifier, but what do I know...
