I would go audioque. Not a lot of people know about them, but they are top notch and really well priced. You can get a set of front and rear speakers for about $100. The fronts fit no problem but the rear 6x9's need a little bit of grinding in the rear deck to fit. I have an audioque 10" that slams, i can make a video if youd like. id sell it in a really nice box for $250 because i just bought a 15 and that is my current project...

myself lol i feel like a idiot.
We cant decide for you wat EXACTLY to get. everyone has their favorite brand, i personally recommend kenwood, pioneer(not walmart suff but the good stuff), and alpine. those three have great quality products in the low price range, alpine being the most expensive of the three, then kenwood, then pioneer cheapest.

well everyone's ears and tastes are slightly differnt, example focal one of the best speaker brands out there. sound great but the tweeters are extremely loud, for me i would never be able to install those tweeters in my car. Mids sound great but the tweeters are off the chain ridiculous. so theres nothing wrong with the brand focal infact they do alot of things right but for me i wouldnt be as satisfied if i ran them in my car

Visit Audioque.com to research the company a little and read some reviews.

That's what you would think, right? Like I said, not many people know about Audioque. I wouldn't believe anybody if they said that either, but they really are. They are "top notch." Not trying to be a dick, but don't say otherwise if you have no experience with them. Read reviews on everything Audioque. They share the same design as DD Audio because the owners are father and son i believe. DD Audio is hands down the best audio equipment you can buy and Audioque isn't far off. I don't mean to sound like a fanboy, just trying to make someone happy by introducing an amazing product that they wouldn't know about otherwise.

I have a set of the audioque speakers. They are very nice. I can't say they sound amazing though because something is messed up in my wiring that I'm yet to figure out. Can't tell if its the wiring harness or my aftermarket headunit not getting along with the stock amp...
I don't have a doubt that there are better out there, just saying AQ is best bang for your buck. I've never heard focals but rumor has it that they sound great...

4 Ohms, and I'm using the scosche kit. Something doesn't make sense though because I still have the chimes so i just unplugged the speaker box that imitates the chimes in the harness and i had to tie in the factory amp remote turn on for some reason...

The harness came with RCAs for speakers but said that they were for use on the bose stereos. so i cut them and wired them up like normal. I figured it was the stock amp but i just dont have the money for a new amp. i might wire them straight to the headunit and see how they act then. im just a basshead and most of the audio budget goes into subs. Had an 18" Audioque HDC3 in the back and it blew out the seals on my windshield
Maybe i can sell the stock pioneer speakers, sub, headunit, and amp to fund an amp! Craigslist here i come!

well the thing is by utilizing the speaker wires your over driving the amp. so it gets more power then it should (not really a problem persay if you dont ever go past the threshold that the stock HU went to) and then since you have 4 ohm speakers the amp is running half power. so since your 35w amps is only giving the speakers 17w you want to turn it up louder. just an overall bad situation running them to the HU no amp will do alot as is then if you decide to do an amp more power to you
