Cool Will I Bump?

I am running a Alpine Type E 1041 in a Q Logic case(200w/max peak 600w), I am running that on a Dual XPR520 amp. The amp says its total dynamic power is 400 watts. that is just another way of saying its peak power right? how would I tell the stable Power???

That is a 4ohm sub with RMS 50-200w, Amp wired in bridged mode to one SVC 4ohm sub would equal a 4ohm load. In bridged mode amplifier makes 150w RMS @ 4 OHMS. But, that is going strictly from the manufacturer's rating which could be understated or overstated. I would say 100-150 RMS is a good bet, It won't be that much bass, more SQ rather than SPL, but it will all in all just be a somewhat decent compliment to the mids and highs.

^this. It's not just about rms. You also have to figure out what the ohms are and if that amp can be bridged or not. I'm running a Brutus hifonics 2000D mono block amp with an Orion HCCA 10" competition sub attached to it. At 2 ohms stable my amp puts out 1300rms and the sub does 1500rms. I plan on buying a second sub and bridging them together to bring it down to 1ohm stable and then my amp will push 1950rms and the subs will be able to handle 2200rms.

Those subs can take a lot more abuse than 1500rms.

I know, but my amp only pushes 1300rms in 2ohm stable right now. That's why I plan on getting a second sub and bridging them together to bring it down to 1ohm stable.

Why not get a better amp? You could get a Pure 3k for $260 which is clamped at 15xx at 2 ohms.

Because once I get a second sub I can bridge them together and drop to 1ohm. And then I can push a lot more than 1500rms.
