Will this system work? Mainly amp help!!
Whats up everyone?
I am currently trying to upgrade my sound system without have to change the stock HU. As of now I have alpine 6x9 rear speakers and everything else is stock.
I really dont want to spend money on a new sub and would rather spend money between an amp and some component door speakers
Is it a reasonable idea to buy possibably a 3 ch amp and hook it up to the stock 10" sub and to the alpine rear speakers? If I buy a good set of component front speakers plus the new amp do you think this would overall be a pretty decent upgrade. I want my bass to kick only slightly more but mainly I want just want them to sound better at higher volumes.
Either way my plan is to try and boost the stock sub a little bit, improve the quality of the front speakers, and also run more wattage (if its a god idea) to my rear deck speakers to get a better sound. What is my best option amp wise? Should i do like I said above and get 3ch amp to power the sub and rear and just get a good pair of component speakers for the front.
Whats a better option if their is one?
Sorry if I sound like i dont know what Im talking about, i really dont.
Appreciate it,
Bryan
how much more power can the stock sub handle
