I just traded in my 01 camaro ss. I had my sirius plugged into the factory head unit because the fm modulator was crap. How can i do that with this car, i'm not sure if i have a upgraded stereo or not, it has a sub in the trunk. its a 06 cobalt ss/sc. thanks for the help.

no one could anwser my question. So i tried it myself.

http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Custo...Review.do#tabs

I purchased this. Pulled apart all of the panels to get to the stereo with this write up.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...highlight=dash

pulled out the stereo to find that I need adapters to plug the regular atenna into the black block. Also i need an adapter to be able to plug the plug into the back of the stereo since it is too big.

I'll update this when i get the adapters sicne i searched this site and many others and couldn't find this info. Maybe it'll help someone else out.

found adapters, works perfectly.

www.bestkits.com

is where the car stereo place gets the kits.

part numbers are baa4b and baa3

sorry to say but unless you have snow tires the balt may be just as bad as the camero in the snow. I know first hand. I wanted to get snow tires, and rims but i had to have a few surgerys so money was tight so i couldnt. i also have an 06 SS/SC.

hasn't stopped me yet. I drove in 8 inches on valentines day up to scranton and all day sunday and monday in it. the tires do suck, but its much easier than have 300+ rwhp and 350+ rwt on summer tires.

i'll be investing in some snow tires next winter though, but I haven't gotten stuck like i always did in the ls1.
