wiring harness for an aftermarket sterio
i dont kno if im in the right section or not but oh well.. anyone that has a indash touch dvd head unit where did you get the wiring harness to make it work with our car..circuit city told me i have to get it from the dealership and its $250..true? false? either one i need help on where and how i can get this harness..thanks

Depends on what year your car is...
07 + i believe you need the expensive harness to retain chimes
05-06 the cheap metra harness will do...
Someone correct me if im wrong...

i havent been on this site in like 4 months so i dont really know whats been asked and unless your going to help dont comment..by the way to everyone that whats to be helpful its an 07 and i guess its true i gotta go to the dealership??

nope u dont need a 250 harness. one is cheap (15 bucks or so) the other is expensive (100 or so)
the expensive module harness keeps ur chimes and all that and the cheap one doesnt. u also have to do a fuse tap on the cheap harness
