You didn't cause any problems so don't worry about
I think we all (myself included) got our panties in bunch.
Back on topic, post the specs on the sub wel see if we can guide you a bit better.
BTW- Pik, you didn't spell wave right, you should fix that
I'm just messin' with you, After all that, how could I pass it up

I also have a quick question after reading one of the posts. My remote wire is blue and white coming off of my head unit. When I installed it, I had no sound going to my speakers. So I read another post in the audio section and it said to connect that wire to the blue wire in the harness. So what do I do with the remote wire now since its connected to the wiring harness? Thanks

to get your stock amp to turn on you must hook the remote from the aftermarket HU to the remote turn on in the stock harness. It may be the blue wire coming out of the harness you bought to connect to the factory harness and it may not be. Check to see if it is and if not then cut the pink wire off the stock harness and connect it to the remote wire off the aftermarket HU

alright, now i feel stupid as ****, but I looked at the back of the subs and they are only 300w peak, 150w RMS, and 4 ohm when my brother who i bought them from said they were 800w each. Should I ditch them? Not going to get much out of them? Thanks

No one gets the perfect setup on the first install,
Look at it like this, they will still sound better than what you got right now right.
So if they will do the trick for a short time, rather then sinking the $$$ into new subs put it towards the amp, then in a few weeks or whenever your buget allows it upgrade the subs.
Your amp to run the subs is the important part.
If $$$ is not an issue then go get some High end subs, JL's are my personal favorite, some people like the RE's , ect, ect. but in the end its up to you and if you like the way they sound so go listen to them first.

Nah I thought about it all day and Im just going to stick with these. Money is a big issue with wanting to buy a house soon too. I mainly listen to country anyway, but occasionally turn some hip hop on too and enjoy the bass. So recommend just getting a 600w amp for now? anything else? Thanks
