XM Question...

This isn't exactly Cobalt related but it's still GM and (should) still use the same parts. I searched but every thread with XM that came up didn't really shed any light on this.

My friend drives an 07 Pontiac Torrent, and from what he told me it did not come with XM. He has an aftermarket XM receiver and stuff, but was wondering if it's at all possible to get the parts and put the factory style XM in the vehicle and have it work like it should? We got on this topic when he commented on the fact that I swapped in a 2009 USB deck into my car, but I told him I was unsure how the XM stuff works but I'd ask here to see if someone knows anything about this.

Go to the parts department section of your local Chevy dealerships web page.
Go into the accessories section and fill out the information for whatever year Torrent.
Find the XM catergory, it will at least tell you what comes in the kit and how much it is, for just the parts or parts and install.

The same as would if you were looking for parts for the Cobalt.
