Im not saying its a popularity contest just because im not winning. But it def is. do you think that its coincidence that the high posters and the guys with big turbos, tvs, or expensive wheels always win.

well generally those are they guys that have the most work done to their cars.....so..... what would prove that it is a popularity contest is if a stock cobalt with little to no work done to it, won. then you know nobody is basing it off of work done to the car
edit: beat me to it lol

Most owners are in college and are on a limited budget....the people that do spend alot of money are your "favorites". People buy a cobalt because its cheaper than whats mostly out there like Zs,G35s,STIs,Evos. I wish more people would put thought into more mods but the economy stinks and so does peoples wallets.

if this is a popularity contest i def wont win. and if its an elbow grease contest i should win by a land slide lol. in a lot of ways my build blazed the path for a ton of people. the amount if trial and error that went into making that engine what it was is beyond belief. like beck said... BLOOD, SWEAT, TEARS and TIME not to mention tens of thousands of dollars. if i knew then what i know now i coulda built a much badder engine for half the price and it would still be in my car and id be enjoying it.

...you...
ARE THE MAN! Hah, I do appreciate it. Needed that Germany love.
I agree, it's tough to be mad.
^This. And I think the fact that since I'm on such a tight budget and I still find ways to put work on and mod my car makes it that much more meaningful to me.

I'll be the first to admit I don't have much money in my Cobalt. I have some plans for it but my fortune is wrapped up in my LS2 powered '91 Camaro, my real passion. Don't get me wrong though, I love my cobalt!
