Just a bit of trivia for you youngsters, Chevy has NEVER referred to any SS model as Super Sport.
No print ads, no dealer RPO's, nothing. The Super Sport cars carried 'Super Sport' badging, not 'SS' badges. After Chevy made the 'SS' option in the late 60's, they never printed anything with the words 'Super Sport' again.
Everyone assumes that SS stands for SuperSport, but GM never made the connection. A small and meaningless bit of trivia, which I suppose is exactly what trivia is supposed to be, so there it is.

awesome !
very very good picture, well done, good location choice, lighting, pose, clean pavement surface, non-distracting surroundings, cant find anything to complain about there!
plus, that is virtually identical to the SS I "want" to get,
as soon as my dealer can get me one.
Would you by any chance have a larger ( original size maybe) version that I could use for a desktop wallpaper for my home and work computers ?
except then I would just constantly stare and never get any work done from daydreaming..

I do have a larger version. If you want, you can send me a message on AIM (Horision)
and i'll resize it to your desktop resolution and send it to you.
I'm glad you liked the picture
